This site showcases the rare twin engine Mini. The car is currently touring the UK and appearing at various classic car shows & events including the London Classic Car Show at Excel London.

Following the success of the BMC twin-engine Mini Moke designed by Alec Issigonis and continued motor sport success, the idea of a twin-engined competition Mini was taken a step further in 1963 by BMC’s Experimental Department.

Two prototype ‘Twini’ Minis were built, one registration no. 387 OG which was used as the press launch vehicle with two standard 997cc Mini Cooper engines and the other, registration no. 931 RFC, with two Downton Engineering tuned engines.
